DIRECTOR OF STUDENT COMMUNITY SERVICES

The Director of Student Community Services position is Open Until Filled so that we can find the ideal candidate for our amazing team.

As a Full-Time Exempt Director of Student Community Services, you will report to the Chief Student Success Officer and be a key Student Services Leader overseeing multiple areas in the Student Services Division: Community Standards, CARES Team, Mental Health, Housing, Student Engagement, and multiple support services for students. This position also serves as Title IX Coordinator, ensuring the College remains in compliance with both federal and state laws. The DSCS is responsible for developing and implementing various community service programs and initiatives that engage students in meaningful opportunities both on and off campus all the while providing excellent holistic wrap around services for students. The overall success of this position lies in coordinating, collaborating, and cultivating partnerships with various UCC departments and staff along with external entities to provide excellent service for students in alignment with the College’s Strategic Plan and resulting in student retention, degree, and program completion.

QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience administering Student Code of Conduct and/or Title IX.
  • 3 years supervisory and customer service experience.
  • Working knowledge of FERPA and HIPAA laws.
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations, campus and community partners.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in student services or related field.
  • Experience working in Higher Education.
