The Customer Service Representative at CBX greets and creates a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients.

What will I do?

  • Providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude
  • Greet and offer help to passengers looking for help or direction.
  • Assist passengers complete tasks and guide them through the appropriate processes needed to use bridge.
  • Provide assistance any of the following; Luggage or wheelchair assistance, Cashiering, Filtering, passenger flow control, Parking lot attendant, and Parking guide attendant.
  • Help customer in parking find parking or process to exit
  • Able to understand bridge use requirements
  • Able to understand and follow strict CBX/U.S. customs and immigration policies and guidelines.
  • Work with a sense of urgency and demonstrate the ability to complete task in an accurate and timely manner
  • When assigned, is able to complete the responsibilities associated with other related roles such as concierge desk, bridge access, bridge end, porter, information booth, ground transportation, traffic director, lot attendant, etc.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.

Experience:

  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Intermediate computer literacy is preferred.
  • Bilingual with English and Spanish is highly desired.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job site is required.

Skills:

  • Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations.
  • Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be able to make decisions independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Able to work weekends.

Physical Demands:

  • Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
  • Ability to apply pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
  • Ability to perform functions that require repetitive motions using hands, wrists, arms, legs, ankles, knees and hips.
  • Ability to express or exchange information, instructions, ideas, etc. by means of the spoken word.
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound.
