Title of Position: Education Faculty Member – Fall 2024 Start

Bargaining Unit / Salary Range: MEA Faculty Unit; $48,846.97 - $58,325.83 Dependent upon Qualifications & Experience.

 

Responsibilities: EMCC is looking to fill a full-time Education Faculty instructor position beginning August 21, 2024. The chosen candidate will teach the equivalent of a full course load. Classes taught will have an emphasis on students in a special education setting and will be delivered via distance learning formats. Program development and course creation will be necessary. This position supports clinical activities and placement of students. Other duties include advising students and serving on college committees.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master of Special Education, Education, or closely related field. Five (5) years of work experience in special education environments. Prior experience with course and curriculum development. Experience teaching in a variety of formats, including in person, online and hybrid/virtual.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years’ teaching experience in a community college. Experience developing and working with community partners. Ability to support at-risk students. Collaborative, creative and passionate about teaching and learning.
