Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical assistance, development and training to the A/P staff.
  • Audits accounts payable batches and monitors quality levels.
  • Performs month-end duties including creating all accounts payable accruals.
  • Handles vendor inquiries, performs vendor account analysis and reconciliation, and resolves invoice issues/discrepancies.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining positive working relationships within the department and with other internal departments and external vendors.
  • Develop and support an environment of continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in job assignments and procedures are completed.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of effective internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets.
  • Ensure systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure department operates efficiently through maintenance of accurate and complete records.
  • Manage and coordinate audit requests received from internal sources, external auditors and other third parties.
  • Manage and conduct month-end responsibilities to include creating all accounts payable accruals
  • Manage and own relationships with vendors and serve as the central escalation point for any vendor issues to ensure prompt handling of internal and/or external inquiries in a timely manner by providing status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage, build, and maintain positive relationships within the department, with other internal departments, and with external vendors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, and 5 years of high-volume AP with progressive career progression.
  • Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner within San Diego County, to locations that may have limited access to public transportation; proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS: Licensed for a minimum of 3 years; No more than 2 violations and/or accidents within 3 years; No vehicle related suspensions/reinstatements; No DUI, reckless or felony Driving within 7 years.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base range for this position, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.

48,672.00 - 69,439.00

If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
