This position is full - time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work any 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM including the flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need. Our office is located at 3131 Camino Del Rio N, San Diego, CA, 92108.

We offer weeks of paid on the job training. The hours during training will be based off their schedule. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

If you are located within a commutable distance of San Diego, CA, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* (work from home) as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains detailed project plans
  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects across various cross functional areas
  • Provides subject matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques
  • Makes presentations to management on project updates, project cycle, and expected results
  • Scribe meeting minutes and track associated action items
  • Daily use of the following Microsoft programs: Microsoft Word (creating, editing, saving, formatting), Microsoft Excel (create and edit spreadsheets), Microsoft PowerPoint (create, edit, and format presentations), Microsoft Visio (ability to create, edit, save, and send presentations), Microsoft Outlook (compose and respond to email), and Microsoft OneNote (organize and store documents and other information)
  • Ensures projects are completed on time and in scope
  • Manages customer, vendor, service providers, etc., to define project scope and performance expectations
  • Manage office documents in accordance with Enterprise Records Management procedures
  • Other tasks assigned as per business needs

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in project management and supporting teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work any 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday including the flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need
  • Reside within a commutable distance of San Diego, CA
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working towards or have received certification in project management, LEAN, or Six Sigma
  • 1+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant
  • Experience using Microsoft Power Bi dashboards

California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $23.22 to $45.43 per hour.
