This is an exempt position. The work schedule will be a hybrid of remote and working from various Scripps sites.

Join Scripps Health as Education Program Manager (EPM) - RN, also known as Nurse Educator with our Center for Leaning and Innovation. Under the oversight of the Learning Manager RN, and in collaboration with Center for Learning and Innovation team, you will identify gaps, create curriculum, and deliver training at a system level for assigned service line.

As EPM RN, you will serve as key liaison with facilities and work proactively with all leadership to assess and identify needed learning interventions and success factors and implement training for quality outcomes.

You will be responsible for ensuring strong communication across system for focus on variation reduction and consistent application of learning principles and processes. This role will provide continual assessment of learning/competencies needed to ensure quality outcomes. You will also provide educational support for training/skills, new hire orientation, transition programs, survey readiness, and more. You will resource and assist with additional CFLI training endeavors as identified by the Scripps system.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Three to five years of recent progressive education experience in a health care facility.
  • Knowledge of computer technology and applications as applicable for role.
  • Working knowledge of current theoretical approaches, strategies and concepts regarding the delivery of patient care to acute care, and ambulatory patient populations.
  • Excellent skills in written and verbal communication, team development, planning and follow-through.
  • Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the Scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.

Required Certification/Registration:

  • Current California RN license or certification(s) in specific discipline required.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

  • Critical care or other specialty acute care experience preferred.
  • Masters degree highly preferred.

Minimum Rate (USD): 44.65 - Maximum Rate (USD): 66.98
