If you're an experienced Bluetooth engineer with great systems knowledge and a passion for triage and debugging, we may have the job for you. The Core Bluetooth team is looking for a passionate software engineer to lead and deep dive complex Bluetooth issues. As a member of the Bluetooth SW team, you will use your knowledge of Bluetooth protocols, features and related tools, validation, and problem-solving in order to drive failures to resolution.

Key Qualifications

  • Good Understanding and working knowledge of Bluetooth protocols
  • Experience in testing Bluetooth - Functional or Performance or Stability Testing
  • Experience working with wireless sniffers and protocol analyzers to debug and root cause issues
  • Enjoy hands-on debug and problem-solving
  • Patient and disciplined problem-solving skills in the face of partial data.
  • Strong C++, C and Python
  • Self-motivated and dedicated with validated creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while authoritatively driving multiple projects across many team
  • Can clearly communicate and drive projects across many teams
  • Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to pursue everyday problems in innovative ways
  • Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers


Description

You will be challenged with unique problems. The ideal person for this role is a passionate Software Engineer, working in a deeply technical team. You will work as part of a talented and diverse team to ensure quick resolution of bugs.

Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,700.00 and $243,300.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
