Scope of Position

Works closely with the Project Manager and the project team on all aspects of the project including contract management, budget, schedule, risks, internal project controls, reporting and interface with some external parties. Responsible for ensuring all contract compliance and adherence to contracting policies.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

    Assists Project Manager is the planning, coordination, and execution of projects on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate, and follow-up on day to day activities of the project team, such as but not limited to, previous meetings action items closure; answer to notifications and requests for information, contractual deliverable delivery, etc.
  • Prepare project progress reports for Senior Management including schedules, cost reports and risk analysis;
  • Participate in development and maintenance of the project documentation, project schedules and the project risk register. Work with Site Administrative Personnel to maintain all the project's documentation.
  • Participate in project hand over from Development to Implementation and to Generation. Coordinate documentation with DBS or Tax Equity investor.
  • May be assigned to directly manage and be responsible for elements of a project (substation, transmission line, complex analysis, etc.). This includes direct management of cross functional teams, budget, schedule responsibilities, and interfacing with external parties;

Contract Management:

  • Support the coordination, redaction and analysis of Request for Proposals (RFP).
  • Participate or lead in contract negotiations for various contracts (including Balance of Plant (BOP), major equipment supply agreement, service agreements, etc.) involving cross functional teams.
  • Participate or lead in change order negotiations and collaborate with Legal Department in claims resolution or litigation
  • Responsible for contracts review and advise regarding possible changes to future contracts through redline on master contracts templates
  • Administer contracts, manage counterparties, and ensure compliance with EDF Renewables, Inc. (EDFR) and the counterparty.
  • Responsible for routing agreements/documents for signatures.
  • Deploy and maintain contracts compliance register; track contractual obligations to satisfactory execution.

Monitoring & Control:

  • Maintain a detailed baseline budget set by Project Manager at Final Investment Decision (FID);
  • Review and update monthly reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with Department Administrative Personnel to enter purchase requisitions and perform invoice reception in SAP.
  • Prepare project progress reports for Senior Management including schedules, cost reports and risk analysis.
  • Assist in the implementation of EDFR's health and safety policies.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in project management of complex projects or equivalent training & or experience required.
  • Applicable experience may include contract management, cost reporting, risk management and schedule monitoring.
  • PMP certification preferred.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Power industry, renewable energy industry experience preferred. Specific experience in wind, solar, and/or storage implementation a plus
  • Solid oral and written communication skills;
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), MS Project & SAP
  • Ability to take initiative and work well within a team;
  • Time management and priority management skills;
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to details & accuracy.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

Approximately 80% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. Approximately, 20% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors' and/or internal customers' sites in additional to attending various conferences and meetings.

This role's annual base salary range is between $91,000 and $152.000.
