About the Role:

Deploys and maintains executive IT equipment including PCs, Macintosh, and iOS devices. Assists in starting executive conference room meetings and providing support when needed. This role also requires Macintosh expertise and will set configuration and management. They will train and mentor other technicians on Macintosh support.

Your contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Provide prompt and effective technical support to Neurocrine executives

  • Act as a subject matter expert on MacOS-related technologies, offering guidance and assistance to both Neurocrine Executives and IT colleagues

  • Configure and maintain MacOS-based systems, ensuring they align with security, compliance, and performance standards

  • Collaborate with IT teams to design, implement, and maintain MacOS-related infrastructure, including deployment, patch management, and inventory tracking

  • Act as a subject matter expert on MacOS-related technologies, offering guidance and assistance to both Neurocrine Executives and IT colleagues

  • Collaborate with facilities and audiovisual teams to set up and support Neurocrine Executive meetings, ensuring seamless integration of AV equipment and technology

  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in MacOS IT support and AV technology, applying relevant knowledge to enhance the organization's capabilities

  • Mentor other technicians, contractors, and temporary workers

  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, phones, mobile devices, and printers

  • Test new technology and provide feedback and recommendations

  • Setup new hire systems and equipment

  • Monitor and maintain cloud applications including Office 365

  • Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests

  • Notate all work in service-now ticketing system

  • Repair and replace equipment as necessary

  • Other duties as required

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / Associates degree and 6+ years of related experience as an IT support specialist OR

  • BS/BA in Computer Science or technical field and 2+ years of related experience as an IT support specialist

  • MCP certified preferred

  • Complete understanding of Microsoft Windows 7 and 10 operating system.

  • Advanced knowledge and support of cloud applications including Office 365

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment

  • Ability to maintain professional attitude under high demand situations

  • Works with technical teams and uses accumulated high-level technical knowledge and judgment to solve problems encountered in a fast-paced environment.

  • Expert with iPhone and iPad setup and support

  • In-depth knowledge of JAMF Software

  • Has developed specialized skills through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience

  • Applies in-depth skills and understanding in multiple processes and procedures to carry out assignments or has developed these skills in a single area

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skill with the ability to work with various team members and maintain a positive attitude

The hourly rate we reasonably expect to pay is $32.30-$46.87. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
