Coordinator, Senior Programs - Part Time

Class Description

The purpose of this class is to perform an advanced level of administrative work assisting with the coordination of the Continuing Education’s Senior Programs.     

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, Social Sciences or a related field of study and Two (2) years of experience working with adult education or planning programs for seniors is required.  

Class Specific Essential Duties

  1. Plan, schedule, and coordinate the College’s Community Education classes for seniors.
  2. Recommend, and develop new courses and course series. 
  3. Recruit, select, train, and work closely with adjunct faculty and instructors. 
  4. Provide superior customer service and solution to problems for both student and adjunct faculty.
  5. Develop and maintain partnerships with all relevant stakeholders.
