Decypher is seeking Clinical Psychologist candidates to support the DoD contract at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will possess the required education, skills, and experience called for in the contract as described below. US Citizenship and active NACI clearance required.

Position Locations (Positions)

Naval Branch Health Clinic (NBHC), Naval Amphibious Base Coronado (NABC) (1)

Responsibilities

* Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.

* Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.

* Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.

* Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.

* Assist in rehabilitation of patients.

* Coordinate care with other health care providers and provide consultative services pursuant to optimal health care delivery to patients suffering from pain.

* Participate in an on-site designated Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) tele-mentoring training program.

* Participate in tele-mentoring, tele-medicine, and tele-consults.

Minimum Qualifications

* Degree: Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

* Education: Graduate from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology. Additional training is required for psychology specialties. Refer to the DHA PM 6025.13, vol. 4 for requirements.

* Internship/Residency: Successful completion of a psychologist intern program which has been approved by the American Psychology Association. A one-year fellowship or residency in health psychology or behavioral medicine OR possess two years of clinical work experience as a full-time Clinical Psychologist within the preceding three years.

* Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.

* Licensure: Possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted license or certification to practice as a psychologist in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
