The Dixieline Lumber and Home Centers are conveniently located throughout San Diego County, offering both homeowners and contractors complete customer service. Our sales staff can help select the proper hardware, tools and supplies needed for just about any project. Today, Dixieline Lumber & Home Centers is owned by Builders FirstSource, the largest supplier of building products, prefabricated components, and value-added services to the residential construction market in the U.S.

Assists fund control customers and processing of their fund requests as needed, by performing the following duties: * Sets up new customer accounts. File, scan and index customer documents. * Type documents, vouchers, agreements, letters and memos. * Qualify customer vouchers, check for proper completion and funds availability. * Process fund requests and receive deposits. * Assist customers and sign checks as needed. * Study and become familiar with Mechanics Lien Law.

This position has no direct reports or supervisory responsibilities.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or four(4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Registered with the California Department of Corporations.
  • Must be able to meet FBI background check in order to register and be bonded by Escrow Agents Fidelity Corporation.
  • Can not have committed a felony and some misdemeanors, good credit history, etc.

COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, legal document with the ability to collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to write letters and memos that conform to a prescribed style and format.
  • Strong computer and math skills with the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations typically encountered in construction and business.
  • Good work ethic.
  • Ability to multi task.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in dealing with customer problems.
  • Good computer skills, understanding of Word and Excel * Minimum typing of 55 wpm. Ten key by touch
