Job Summary:

As a successful Project Manager- Contract (Onsite Work Schedule at San Diego - 5955 Pacific Center Blvd, San Diego, CA 92121), you will participate in complex, cross-functional projects with a high business impact. Your main task will be project management and execution within the catheter manufacturing Engineering program. The primary focus of this role will be on our Neuro Critical Care products and participation in setting and delivering goals for the Manufacturing Engineering team to set-up and qualify the equipment.

In this job, you will:

• Lead and execute the project by compiling the project plan, assigning tasks and delivering and reporting out on these tasks.
• Coordinate deliverables for each engineer and track and report progress for each assigned task. Report out daily, weekly and monthly on project performance against milestones.
• Identify risks and proposed actions to mitigate the risks.
• Coordinate external testing.
• Create ECOs' (Engineering Change Orders), DCOs' (Document Change Requests) Plans, Protocols and Reports under broad direction.
• Create and / or update project documentation in alignment with Natus QMS procedures.
• Support qualification of manufacturing equipment changes / process / testing and inspection, and ensure compliance to quality standards through the creation and execution of protocols.
• Create and maintain the technical documentation for building a complete device master record.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering or Project Management with working knowledge of engineering principles and at least 5 years' related experience and/or training in project management in the medical device industry. A combination of education and experience can be considered.
• Strong demonstrated experience managing projects.
• Medical device design experience required specifically with sterile medical devices; catheter manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
• Effective Communication skills.
• Demonstrate good approach to problem solving and project management.
• Knowledge and Interpretation of FDA guidelines and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Demonstrated utilization of Design for Manufacture/Assembly and Design for Test methodologies highly desirable.

Pay Rate: $70 to $90 / hour based on experience level
