Regional Finance Representative

Job Description

This position is responsible for expediting the credit approval process for all new and existing credit accounts. It will monitor store collection efforts, adherence to financial policies & procedures, and provide timely, accurate system maintenance to customer account information. This position will have direct customer phone contact to resolve discrepancies or disputes and effect collection of delinquent or over limit balances.
  • Establish credit lines on all new and existing accounts up to an approved authority level
  • Monitor store collection activity and provide additional support and expertise through direct customer phone contact
  • Provide timely, accurate system maintenance to customer account information
  • Place and monitor delinquent accounts with internal/external collection agencies
  • Provide financial and customer support to store management and District Financial Managers
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have received at least a "meets expectations" (3) rating on your most recent performance appraisal
  • If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience in accounting or accounts receivable
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience in retail, sales, or customer service
  • Have an associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Have prior work experience using spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications
