Job Summary

The Director of Workplace Experience, Facilities / Director of Business Performance Standards, Facilities assists in the coordination of strategic and operational activities within the account including project support, coordination, collation of information, reporting and data analysis. The Business Performance Standards Director will lead, facilitate, and provide focused support to enable, drive, and deliver strategic objectives and business results. Evaluate existing business processes and make specific recommendations about what data needs tracking and how it can be used to improve operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to the account in the ongoing reporting and development of network reporting, dashboard key performance indicators and operational reporting requirements.
  • Support the account to provide efficient systems, accurate reporting structures and timely advice.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, vendors and service providers as required to ensure the efficient delivery and maintenance of business performance solutions.
  • Provide support to the Region Manager/VP of Operations and account in the preparation and coordination of submissions as required (business case and business planning proposals, funding submissions, tender responses) including service delivery frameworks, budget information and general account information
  • Assist with budget monitoring and expenditure including preparation of reports.
  • Provide support to the Region Manager/VP of Operations in achieving the account Strategic Plan including reviewing performance against the strategic objectives and tracking of the account's work plan by location.
  • Draft MBR/QBR presentations and establish standardized client presentations.
  • Other duties consistent with the role where required and/or requested by manager.


Requirements of Role:

  • Bachelor's degree OR 5 years of Operations and/or equivalent relevant industry experience
  • 5+ Years experience in facilities management
  • Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated direct experience in leading Performance Improvement
  • Five (5) years of previous management role/demonstrated experience managing others.
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years finance reporting responsibilities
  • Intermediate experience in data mining and a proven ability to translate numbers into plain English for business use.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to storyline and prepare executive-level discussion documents.
  • Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving approach, and manage execution.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytic skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence different styles.
  • Experience as a member of a high performing team.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations in a calm, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Client Relations and Customer Service Oriented.
