Responsibilities*

  • Oversee all aspects related to approximately 100 registered student organizations (registration, compliance, programmatic support, etc). 
  • Create and implement annual student organization training opportunities including, but not limited to, Student Organization Summit and the monthly student organization series. 
  • Coordinate student organization policies, and development of annual handbooks and training.
  • Coordinate student organizations lockers and keys.
  • Oversee and implement all aspects of student organization advisor training, ongoing communication and development of programmatic support.
  • Advise the Student Government Student Organization Partnership Board in their recognition of new voluntary student organizations.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the student engagement software (CampusConnections) including overseeing training and use. 
  • Assist with department signature events.

Required Qualifications*

Completed Bachelor's Degree

Desired Qualifications*

  • Experience working in a higher education setting
  • Enrolled in University of Michigan graduate program in Higher Education or related field
     

Work Schedule

Approximate start and end date: August 19, 2024 - May 2, 2025
