The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is seeking undergraduate students to serve as tour guides for summer 2024. Admissions hosts over 2,500 tours annually for prospective students and their families. Tour guides are a vital component to the campus experience. We are looking for Notre Dame undergraduate students who want to share their Notre Dame experience while presenting facts about academics, community, and spiritual life. Training will be provided.

- Represent the University as an ambassador for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Enrollment Division
- Share the Notre Dame story with prospective students and their families
- Emphasize the academic, spiritual, and social opportunities at Notre Dame
- Encourage questions
- Dress and act in a professional manner
Priority application deadline is April 1, but the application will remain open until all positions have been filled. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Please note that hours worked from all summer jobs may not exceed 40 hours per week. If you have other summer employment, you agree to limit your total hours worked each week to no more than 40 hours.

- Reliable and committed to this role throughout the summer
- Communicates effectively with prospective students of all backgrounds and their families
- Demonstrates engagement in campus life and programs
- Exhibits maturity and discretion in responses to questions and comments
- Currently enrolled as a Notre Dame undergraduate student or a May 2024 graduating senior

Summer tours will begin on Tuesday, May 28 and end Friday, August 23.*
- May – June: Tours will be offered most Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.
- July: Tours will be offered at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday through Friday.
- August: Tours will be offered at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
- There are no weekend tours.
- There may be opportunities to lead additional group tours that may be scheduled during the summer.
*Summer tour guides do not need to be available on all scheduled tour dates and times. Individual availability will be considered as scheduling assignments are made.
A summer tour guide may lead up to ten (10) tours per week. Tours typically last 60-90 minutes.
Tour guides are paid for the tours they give, NOT for their availability. Summer tour guides will be notified 24-48 hours before a scheduled tour if they have been released from the schedule for that tour as a result of insufficient demand.
