Our dynamic team is at the forefront of transforming data into actionable insights, and we are looking for an enthusiastic Data and Analytics Intern to contribute to our mission this summer.

As a Data and Analytics Intern, you will play a pivotal role in transitioning our analytics capabilities from Tableau to Power BI. You will assist in developing new usage metrics and creating insightful dashboards to enhance business decisions. Your contribution will extend to streamlining our data management processes through automation within the Microsoft suite.

Responsibilities
    Collaborate with the Data and Analytics team to convert existing Tableau dashboards into Power BI with high fidelity and enhanced functionality.
  • Design and develop new Power BI dashboards to track usage metrics and other key performance indicators relevant to our business operations.
  • Participate in the collection and analysis of requirements for dashboard development to ensure they meet stakeholder needs.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of process diagrams to document current and future data management workflows.
  • Contribute to the automation of database management processes to improve efficiency and reliability using Microsoft suite tools.
  • Support the team in ensuring data quality and integrity across all analytics platforms.
  • Engage in daily stand-ups and team meetings to report progress and identify any blockers.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in data analytics, data visualization, and process design.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, specifically Power BI; knowledge of Tableau is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of database management and familiarity with automation tools within the Microsoft suite (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Ability to interpret and visualize data effectively to create meaningful insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
