NaphCare is currently hiring a strong Psychologist to join our team at the San Diego County Jail located in San Diego, CA 92081. Full Time, Part Time, PRN and Temporary contracts are available! Pay rates for Psychologists range from $75.00 - $95.00 per hour based on Shift, Employment Status (FT, PT, PRN, or temporary contract), site needs, and experience.

Position Description:

• Active, unrestricted license as a Psychologist in California
• Maintain overall clinical responsibility for the mental health programs within the facility
• Oversee the completion of mental health screenings and evaluations
• Perform sick call visits and chronic care visits
• Conduct rounds in all units
• Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate/modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes
• Coordinate, lead and participate in educational training activities related to mental health care
