The Facilities Manager will maintain the smooth running of the facility with the maximum up time of production equipment and expansion requirements for growth in a safe environment at Chromalloy Carson City, NV.

- Planning and scheduling: Oversees facility and equipment maintenance, scheduling repairs and installations to ensure smooth production.
- Spare parts: Manages requisition and supply of spare parts for maintenance.
- Personnel management: Leads and assigns tasks to maintenance personnel, interprets plans, and prioritizes work.
- Equipment management: Oversees repair, installation, dismantling, and rebuilding of machines and tools.
- Preventative maintenance: Develops and maintains a preventative maintenance program with engineers.
- Problem-solving: Collaborates with management, engineering, and quality assurance to solve maintenance issues.
- Quality assurance: Ensures compliance with company and industry quality standards.
- Cross-training: Ensures all department employees are properly trained in various tasks.
- Compliance: Enforces company safety and environmental policies, as well as Chromalloy safety policies.
- Regulations: Interprets and enforces safety regulations within the workplace.
- Hazard control: Manages hazardous materials and wastewater treatment.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a Facilities Management role, in manufacturing or aerospace
- Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in one or more of the following trades: Plumbing, electrical, welding, or millwright (certification preferred)
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance principles and practices on various machines (grinding, lathes, or vacuum furnaces)
- Experience managing suppliers
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Project Management skills and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
