Position Overview:

The Health Systems Portfolio Marketing Associate Director leads the portfolio marketing strategy and execution for Precision Oncology current and future products in the Health Systems channel. Drives the development of strategic differentiators spanning the product portfolio and creates and evolves the customer segmentation and targeting plan. Integrates Strategic, Clinical, Operational, Financial, and Innovation considerations in the assimilation of clinical data for field-based teams including Strategic Account Managers who call on Health Systems customers. Effectively synthesizes key brand product differentiated attributes into portfolio solutions tailored to Health Systems and deploys as well as monitors utilization and overall effectiveness against KPIs.

Partners with Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Market Access, Brand Marketing, HIT Marketing, Oncology Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR), Medical Affairs, and Field Sales leadership to develop, design and execute programs in channels including Health Systems, large oncology practices and GPOs. Aligns resources to the right channels and stakeholders with the goal to ensure access for Precision Oncology current and future pipeline products and drive portfolio wide product adoption and utilization.

Essential Duties

Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assimilates and translates clinical publications related to Precision Oncology portfolio products and generates salient insights that inform the development of portfolio value propositions and marketing messages.
  • Participates in the development and execution of market research and analytics to inform marketing strategy and solution development.
  • Aligns portfolio offerings with Precision Oncology C-suite and D-suite best-in-class customer experience standards.
  • Utilizes Strategic, Clinical, Operational, Financial and Innovation framework to ensure all portfolio marketing offerings align with C-suite and D-suite priorities at Health Systems.
  • Capacity to develop co-created marketing offerings in partnership with Health Systems customers e.g., data/predictive analytics, research collaborations.
  • Fluency in our current healthcare environment and ability to translate that knowledge into marketing strategies aligned to our customers priorities.
  • Works closely with Medical Affairs, Portfolio Marketing, Brand Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Market Access and/or Health Economics Outcomes Research Teams to support research related to population health and genomic testing in oncology.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and has a track record of translating differentiated value propositions into compelling marketing assets/tools.
  • Comfortable working in capability build/white space environments with inherent ambiguity requiring strategic and tactical agility/flexibility.
  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of working time.
  • Ability to work seated for approximately 50% of a typical working day. Ability to work standing for approximately 10% of a typical working day (note that office positions can accommodate sitting and standing needs, so this may not be relevant).
  • Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 70% of a typical working day.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, science or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience within marketing, sales or related function.
  • Demonstrated success with assimilating data/publications into compelling commercial messages.
  • Knowledge of cancer diagnostics, molecular diagnostics, or preventive health markets.
  • Relationships with Health Systems, Managed Markets and KOLs preferred.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's in Science, MBA, MHA or other Master's degree.

Salary Range:

$152,000.00 - $242,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
