Position Overview

The Director, Partnerships and Portfolio Marketing will oversee and lead the development and implementation of the Health System marketing strategy across the portfolio of Exact Sciences on-market offerings and surrounding value-add services in accordance with the brand plans. This individual will be responsible for effective execution and development of portfolio assets, resources, partnerships, and marketing campaigns and initiatives to meet business goals and objectives. This individual develops operational objectives, oversees third party partnerships, manages and leads the team in developing national and regional based campaigns leveraging our existing product-brand awareness at health systems. This role will be critical in the development and management of a Key Option Leader panel to aid in Voice-of-the-Customer research and to lead key speaking engagements and provide insight into brand communications.

The Director, Partnerships and Portfolio Marketing will be recognized as a marketing expert and brand strategy champion for the entire Exact Sciences portfolio of products and offerings. This role will provide leadership and guidance to cross functional teams in addition to direct engagement with field team leadership while facilitating seamless collaboration across all teams.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the health system market (customers, business models, priorities, capabilities, etc.).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders to develop the Exact Sciences portfolio story and key data-driven messages aligned to identified market segments.
  • Identify and understand the impact of influencer entities/partners on the health system leader.
  • Source, develop relationships with, develop a strategy for and execute tactics with key opinion leaders and entities that impact the health system landscape.
  • Identify, partner with and execute on third party digital and SaMD solutions to drive business results across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate across multiple internal and external teams to sponsor/serve as a change agent internally around health systems and the elevation and activation of our portfolio narrative for health systems. Collaboration will also be important to ensure development and execution of customer needs and resources.
  • Coordinate the work of multiple external vendors and internal departments including agency partners, marketing, market research, legal, regulatory, medical affairs, corporate compliance and the relevant field teams.
  • Translate market trends into relevant resources, think outside-the-box, and create disruptive solutions which enable us to meet our mission of early cancer detection.
  • Translate knowledge including payment reform topics, care redesign, the move towards value-based care, healthcare information technology, population health management and other trends impacting the healthcare environment into strategy and actionable tactics that could enhance the relationship with our health systems.
  • Collaborate with field leadership to execute upon engagement strategy both internal and external to the organization.

  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to travel 40% of working time away from work location. May include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare field, marketing, business administration or related field.
  • Ability to develop a customized, compelling story to communicate our Exact Science message.
  • Proficient in metrics and analytics to document value and ROI of associated partnerships and engagements.
  • Experience working with healthcare influencers such as societies and trade associations.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, or commercial field.
  • Basic computer skills include Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in healthcare, business administration or related field.
  • Experience working with health systems and health systems leaders.
  • Project management experience.

Salary Range:

$174,000.00 - $277,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
