Job Description

This position is a contract position with the possibility of extension/career conversion.

DESCRIPTION

Involves analytical studies on a variety of policies, projects, programs and issues in support of in-house construction projects. Research initiative, program and / or organizational unit, or in research of new or changing systems and programs. Assists in policy and program planning, development, administration, management and implementation; interprets, monitors and analyzes information regarding policies and procedures and provides consultative services to department administrators and other stakeholders.

Uses skills as a seasoned financial analyst, and experienced professional with a full understanding of analytical practices, policies and procedures; researches, analyzes and develops solutions to a wide range of issues. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Primarily deals with policies, programs and proposals which are complex in nature and diverse in scope. Develops new programs, policies or procedures for possible implementation. Has an understanding of bookkeeping principles and the ability to analyze financial data.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Seven (7) years of related financial experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training.

  • Experience/knowledge in construction projects or related work.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $67,200 - $119,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $32.18 - $57.28

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
