Your next role as a Miracle Maker

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Department team as a Temporary Facilities Operations Coordinator. This role has an anticipated duration of 6 months. In this role you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating administrative and facilities duties for the organization. This highly visible position serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients, vendors, applicants. Responsibilities will include providing general administrative and facilities related support to employees and managing the equipment/facility documentation programs (paper and electronic) to assure that the programs meets ISO 9001, cGMP and industry standard requirements. In this position, the individual will be responsible for the upkeep of the Equipment History Files. The Equipment History Files contain identification and reference information as well as a history of changes, maintenance, calibration, and repair for specific piece of equipment or system. The individual will also be responsible for coordinating outside contractors and internal company departments for calibration, maintenance, repairs, and cleaning services. The Facilities Operations Coordinator notifies equipment and area owners and the Quality Assurance (QA) group of any deviations to facility, equipment, and cleaning procedures and manages deviations to closure.

How you will make an impact:

  • Greet all company visitors in a friendly and engaging manner; ensure they reach the appropriate person/function in a timely manner
  • Serve as the point person for Facilities Operations Coordinator duties including: Maintenance, Facilities, Mailing, Supplies, Equipment, Errands, Shopping, Constructions and build out projects.
  • Be an ambassador of Maravai/TriLink, positively representing the Company mission and culture, and providing a high level of service both internally and externally
  • Help coordinate the use of office space including but not limited to the conference rooms and training areas.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
  • Responsible for working with the functional areas in order to coordinate outside contractors for calibration, maintenance, repairs, and cleaning services including due date notification to the functional areas.
  • Acts as a liaison with the Property Managers.
  • Establish and maintain the Facility/Calibration Management System.
  • Establish and maintain the Equipment History Files.
  • Coordinate the selection, evaluation, and auditing of contract calibration/repair services.
  • Issue due dates for calibration/maintenance schedule reports.
  • Establishing and maintaining calibration/maintenance records.
  • Controlling and issuing equipment number and status labels.
  • Coordinate efforts to resolve out of tolerance conditions.
  • Notifying QA and equipment owners of any Out of Tolerances.
  • Perform other functions and duties as required

The skills and experience that you will bring:

  • A combination of of 4-6 years education or work experience in a related discipline. Experience in related field of work within the life science industry and familiarity with ISO 9001 and cGMP regulations.
  • Good verbal and written communication skill.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Strong working knowledge on the technical aspects of calibration/validation/maintenance such as units of measure, conversions, equipment, etc.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $27.00 - $36.00 per hour. In addition, highly competitive long-term incentives in the form of company equity, bonus participation and company sponsored benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
