Job Details:

The Finance Director of ITS is responsible for partnering with the VP/GM of the ITS division to achieve business growth, improved profitability, cash flow, and return on deployed capital. This leader will deliver business planning, financial analysis, business insights, and accurate financial statements for ITS.

The effort will include pricing and cost analysis, investment business cases, forecasts, and budgets, variance analysis, risk/opportunity analysis, support of strategic planning, cost accounting, and operational metrics reporting to facilitate the decision-making of senior management. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for financial oversight and driving the financial performance of the ITS business.
  • Lead a team of finance professionals.
  • Develop pricing and cost models to enable a strong commercial business.
  • Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organization objectives, implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results, and establishes and ensures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
  • Responsible for business capital allocation decisions via CapEx, R&D, and other investment decisions.
  • Manage the organization's finance systems efficiently and effectively to maximize the resources available to achieve strategic and operational objectives to ensure the achievement of revenue, profit, cash, and financial return targets as well as future business growth.
  • Develop and maintain a sound understanding of the strategic needs of the business and proactively contribute to the development of those needs through Finance teams.
  • Partner with Segment and Corporate FP&A departments to prepare the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly reporting, forecasting, and benchmarking capability.
  • Identify key financial trends that positively and negatively impact the organization along with communicating these impacts on a timely basis.
  • Ensure that financial management systems/financial policy frameworks are supported by internal financial standards and controls that conform with US GAAP.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the effective management of internal resources which deliver long-term sustainable value and excellent performance
  • Identify and implement cost-improvement initiatives.
  • Provide support in due diligence efforts and lead the integration of new acquisitions.
  • Regularly interact with senior management or executive levels.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree; Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance-related experience; project accounting preferred.
  • Experience with P&L, general ledger, and balance sheet; manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Ability to communicate a vision & business strategy to the team and formulate plans to achieve the vision.
  • Ability to motivate and lead others to achieve individual and shared goals.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with a willingness to share knowledge, coach, and collaborate effectively with individuals and other departments.
  • Ability to travel domestically at least once per quarter.

Cubic Pay Range:

$124,105.98 - $180,452.25* + benefits.

*Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
