Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Commercial team as a Senior Market Analyst (Biotechnology). As a Senior Market Analyst (Biotechnology)you will be expected to plan, develop, and execute market research initiatives in alignment with short and long-term business goals. Initiatives will focus on molecule and customer tracking to grow Commercial sales and outreach. An ideal candidate will partner with Business Development, Sales, Commercial Operations, Product Management, and Marketing teams to develop and produce data-driven insights from external and third-party sources in support of that goal. Success will be measured through KPIs defined with the cross-functional team to ensure adequate and sufficient market data is available to drive further market penetration.

How you will make an impact:

• Partner with Commercial Leadership for market data availability, business priorities and to propose enhancement opportunities.
• Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to understand key commercial needs and develop catered solutions to each function.
• Develop a global database of viable molecule and customer targets based on current and future company capabilities. Expand database to encompass "follow the molecule" and "follow the funding" targeted initiatives.
• Work with the Commercial Leadership Team to develop, track, and monitor both qualitative and quantitative key performance indicators for commercial tactics and strategize to achieve them.
• Lead initiative to couple customer and molecule target database with territory analytics to ensure BD deployment aligns with market potential and results in sales strategy effectiveness.
• Develop and deliver presentations to BD, Sales, Product Management and Product Marketing regarding potential market opportunities. Partner with Product Management team to ensure Commercial team is outfit with tools needed to effectively sell into expanded markets.
• Develop and deliver presentations to leadership teams within the organization on market potential to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
• Engage in comprehensive data management, including data collection, analysis, research, reporting, and trend monitoring.

The skills and experience that you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years research expertise in the life sciences space.
• Experience in pharma/drug discovery realm required and direct experience in biotech field is highly desirable.
• In-depth understanding of sales and marketing within the context of a CDMO specializing in nucleic acids, mRNA technology, and GMP offerings.
• Minimum 3 years analytics experience, with proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, etc.
• Expertise in Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional attention to detail, process rigor, and multitasking expertise.
• Effective independent operation in a matrix environment, guided by defined business objectives.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000 - $166,000. In addition, highly competitive long-term incentives in the form of company equity, bonus participation and company sponsored benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
