DESCRIPTION

The Operations Support Analyst will dedicate a portion of their time to undertaking individual tasks within the unit. Their primary responsibility is to support unit operations, ensuring strict adherence to departmental or organizational policies, procedures, and internal controls. The role involves ensuring accountability and stewardship of department resources, encompassing operational and financial aspects while maintaining compliance with established standards and procedures.

This position involves the analysis of healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Additionally, the individual will actively engage with Operations Leadership to carry out Quality Assurance responsibilities, overseeing phone calls of clinical triage teams to uphold accuracy.

Contributing to HR functions, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in managing staffing, coordinating sick calls, participating in timekeeping, and assisting in the training of new hires for the GI clinic. The role extends to engaging with operational leadership to execute strategic initiatives aimed at achieving organizational objectives.

The HR professional is expected to deliver consistent updates on clinic performance and actively participate in decision-making processes. Upholding and enhancing elevated standards of patient care is integral to the role, with a focus on promptly addressing any concerns related to patient satisfaction to ensure a positive care experience.

Offering guidance and leadership to clinical staff, the individual is tasked with cultivating a collaborative and efficient work environment. Facilitating team communication and optimizing workflow are additional responsibilities aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience and training.
  • Three (3) or more years of relevant experience including healthcare data analytics.
  • Lead/supervisory experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Gastroenterology and Hepatology department administrative experience.
  • MBA, LSSBB, PMP
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $74,300 - $134,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $35.58 - $64.42

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
