Moffatt & Nichol specializes in large complex waterfront infrastructure projects and is recognized as one of the worldwide leaders in this field. We are actively looking for a Senior Recruiter. As part of the Recruiting Team, the Senior Recruiter will work closely with Business Unit Leaders primarily on the West Coast to meet hiring goals by filling open positions with qualified and talented candidates through the recruiting life cycle. You will primarily be recruiting for the following engineering or scientific disciplines: Civil, Transportation, Structural, Port/Maritime, Coastal, Water Resources or Environmental. As the successful new hire, you may work from your home in Arizona, California, or Washington. Preference is for candidates that are near one of our office locations.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Works with hiring manager to document requirements of job openings as required opening requisition(s)
  • Determines appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions
  • Promotes the company image to candidates and external service providers
  • Identifies candidates and develops networks of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Pre-screens resumes and evaluates effectiveness of electronic candidate evaluation tools
  • Documents candidate evaluation and interview process
  • Negotiates and/or supports hiring manager in developing new hire compensation package/offers
  • Maintains required compliance throughout the recruiting process based on the country the opportunities are located
  • May also assist with the immigration process and administration as a liaison with Human Resources Business Partners
  • May work with agencies, recruiting contractors and/or job board representatives in the course of conducting employment advertising campaigns
  • May provide performance feedback on all recruiting agencies/sources
  • May develop, support and maintain college recruiting, affirmative action and career development programs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree; required
  • 15+ years of full life cycle recruiting with a minimum of 5 (most recent) years of recruiting the following engineering or scientific disciplines: Civil, Transportation, Structural, Port/Maritime, Coastal, Water Resources or Environmental
  • Required experience with:
    • Managing search full cycle from need identified to candidate's first day
    • Multiple sourcing strategies
    • High level offer negotiation options
    • Counteroffer strategies
    • Hiring compliance requirements (OFCCP, country based)
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple searches concurrently; required
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation); required
  • Experience working with applicant tracking system(s)
  • Experience as both a corporate (in house) and external recruiter; strongly preferred
  • Experience with ADP WFN Recruiting platform; preferred
  • All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
  • Moffatt & Nichol uses E-Verify and employment is contingent upon the legal ability to obtain employment in the U.S. and to present the required documentation at hire

Base salary range:

$95,000 to $120,000 based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting required qualification in job description.

Base salary range only applicable for candidates who will be hired and working in the California or Washington markets.

Physical requirements:

Ability to use standard office equipment. Sedentary for a prolonged period of time. On occasion may travel.
