Position Description
The Department of Accounting and Business Law at the College of Charleston is seeking a tenure-track faculty member in accounting to start Spring/Fall 2024. While all areas of teaching and research will be considered, our primary need is in the area of taxation. We are looking for someone with a passion for teaching tax. The willingness and ability to effectively teach accounting principles is also required in addition to other courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

A Ph.D. in accounting from an AACSB accredited (or equivalent) institution is required. Preference will be given to those with professional licensure and evidence of effective teaching. A program of scholarship as evidenced by publications in peer reviewed journals is expected as well as service to the Department, School and College.
