Performs a wide range of traffic control, flagging and other related tasks. Performs duties to company guidelines and established safety procedures. Exposed to extremes of climate and temperatures and will be required to work extended days and call-outs. Responsible for the safe operation and driver inspection of company vehicles and trailers. May use company radios and other communication tools on jobsites. Works in a crew environment reporting to a specialist. May perform other related duties as assigned or required.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year of relevant experience required
  • Must have good safety habits
  • Must have demonstrated ability to absorb formal training and schooling
  • Must have a valid California driver's license
  • Will be required to work emergency call-outs and extensive hours.

This is a Union Represented position - Represented by Local IBEW 465.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior traffic control or construction experience.

Note: The salary for this position is governed by the terms of a collective bargaining agreement.
