Associate Director, Advancement Education and Knowledge Management

Job Description

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, ADVANCEMENT EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT, Resource Development, to be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive Advancement Education program and a robust communications, content, and knowledge management platform. Will conceptualize appropriate solutions/recommendations that drive innovation, adoption, and outcomes in delivery channels related to learning, communications on initiatives, and related information and project management processes.  

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; three years’ development experience, preferably in higher education and in the areas of development operations, project management, learning, training, and/or knowledge management; one year of experience supervising staff, setting goals, and managing performance and budgets; experience designing and delivering professional education and training materials and presentations; initiative; excellent organizational, planning, problem-solving, analytical, time management, presentation, project management, customer service, and written and oral communication skills; meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and time sensitivity; initiative; comfort with materials that are highly academic/scientific/technical in nature; strategic approach to the work and openness to change; tact, diplomacy, and sound judgment with confidential information; fluency with Microsoft Office (including high-level Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency), Zoom and virtual meeting and webinar platforms, project management and learning tools, and relational databases; and ability to learn and become proficient in new technologies/systems.  Must be able to manage multiple projects in a complex, fast-paced environment; convey information clearly and concisely; promote a welcoming office environment; work independently; build strong teams that apply diverse skills and perspectives; influence others to move toward a common vision/goal and collaborate as part of a team; anticipate consequences of actions, potential problems, or opportunities for change.  PREFERRED:  experience with virtual training and learning platforms. Job #23702-9

Must be willing and able to occasionally travel and work evenings and weekends as needed.

This is a hybrid position with a combination of on-campus and remote work.
