Job Summary

Introba is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join out San Diego, CA office.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Generate plans and coordinate with other trades.

  • Assist with preparation and or author complete project specifications.

  • Interact with building owners, property management, architects, and members of design and construction team.

  • Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).

  • Attend and support technical societies.

  • Define system requirements basis of design reports.

  • Ensure designs meet all applicable codes and safety standards.

  • Provide construction cost opinions.

  • Field observation and reporting the progress of work.

  • Collaborate with other trades inhouse and outside of Introba.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering (with a Mechanical emphasis) or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

  • Professional Engineer license.

  • At least 3+ years' experience in facility design and construction, preferably in markets such as commercial, healthcare, higher education, science and technology, and federal/state/local government.

  • Excellent organizational, technical, communication (both written and verbal), and documentation skills and be capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision.

  • Capable of researching, reviewing, and developing design criteria for variety of facilities.

  • Ability to professionally present technical issues to clients, receive feedback, and collaboratively develop solutions.

  • Self-starter who works well with others and likes being challenged

  • Proficiency in working with design modeling software platforms such as Revit.

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and manage responsibilities on multiple projects.

  • Ability to read, understand, and create construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Additional Information

Introba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of$73,100 - $120.000 annually for this position and local market.
