Entry Level Engineer or Geologist - Construction Materials Engineering and Testing

Kleinfelder is seeking a staff engineer to support our growing Construction Materials Engineering and Testing practice. Duties include providing professional services for geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing projects.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Geology
• 0-3 years of experience

In addition to the above minimum requirements, hiring preference will be given to those with the following certifications or experience:

• ACI, ICC, Caltrans, AASHTO, and/or NICET certifications
• Knowledge and experience of geotechnical/geological engineering concepts, principles and practices
• Knowledge of multiple types of construction
• Previous field and/or laboratory experience
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Benefits: Kleinfelder offers an excellent compensation and benefits package, including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid holidays. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Pay Scale Disclosure Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $50,081- $83,486 annually.
