Join our Scripps Mercy team of Cath Lab Recovery RNs in our newly opened Cath Lab Recovery Unit for our expanding program. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care including assessment, planning and implementing care; and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. Primary responsibility is to ensure safe high quality patient centered care collaborating with a highly engaged patient care team. Our team remains committed to professional development, dedication to their team members and best care practices and making patients feel comfortable with and informed about their treatment.
This is a full time 12 hour varied day shift position.

Required Experience/Education/Course(s)/Certification:
- One year of cardiac PCU experience with knowledge of cardiac drips required
- BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Must have experience with radial bands, groin management, and Femostops
- Must have experience with care of the critical cardiac patient and care of the post cardiac surgical/procedure patient
Preferred Experience/Education/Training:
- One (1) year cardiac ICU/PACU experience preferred
- Knowledge of patient focused care delivery
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
