The Role

As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking a Senior Global Marketing Manager.Are you a marketing and communications professional who is unafraid to think differently, always going the extra mile, and keeps current on the latest marketing trends? QuidelOrtho has a long history of being the premier customer experience leader in the diagnostic market. Join the team to serve as the global brand and marketing ambassador for the brand strategy, marketing campaign strategy and tactics for QuidelOrtho services and products around the globe. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B technology product or software marketing (preferred) and/or B2B professional customer experience and/or services marketing, with the ability to drive and manage the marketing strategy and messaging for the organization. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the brand and requires a high degree of global collaboration. This position will be located in San Diego, CA, Raritan, NJ or Rochester, NY. Remote work options may also be considered.

The Responsibilities
  • Develop strategy for end-to-end, global multi-channel marketing campaigns for product and service offerings

  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to cross functional and supporting teams to ensure quality development and seamless execution of campaign tactics and sales collateral.

  • Build, and provide oversight of marketing processes for campaign briefs, branding, messaging, marketing collateral development, lead generation and nurturing, and marketing campaign strategy and execution

  • Capture results and conduct metrics and ROI analysis to assess success and inform campaign development

  • Comfort with drafting a variety of different types of content, including but not limited to messaging, internal communications, sales materials, etc.

  • Drive strategic communications planning with cross functional teams and agencies

  • Ability to lead and influence in matrix organization.

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual

Required:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing or a related business or technology field

  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant B2B marketing/sales experience

  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing and communications strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results

  • An innovative mindset that can think strategically with a willingness to execute tactically

  • Strong organizational and project management skills - with ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple, complex projects/priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around times

  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills

  • Strong persuasive written and verbal communication skills - able to expertly position and tell compelling stories around our offerings and influence both internal and external audiences

  • Proficient in MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate to advanced skills in PowerPoint are a plus)

  • Travel: up to 30%

Preferred:

  • Experience in marketing technology products or B2B software is preferred for this role

Key Working Relationships
  • Customers: Acts as brand ambassador to targeted customers

  • Distribution Partners: Coordinates and drives efforts of distribution to achieve QuidelOrtho goals where required in targeted systems

  • Field Sales: Provides leadership in representing and driving account strategy, corporate goals and values. Provides thorough and timely communication to sales leadership and internal departments regarding field issues, products and competition; offers suggestions and solutions. Works with other members of Commercial team to maximize revenue and profitability in targeted IDN customers and complex accounts. Demonstrates corporate values.

  • QuidelOrtho Management: Interacts with Sales Leadership, Specialty Sales, Sales Administration, and Distribution to maximize achievement of corporate goals, and interacts with other aspects of the organization as required (e.g., Finance, HR, IT, Customer Service, etc.)

The Work Environment

Must have the discipline, organization skills and self-motivation to work autonomously in a home office environment. Must possess the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. No strenuous physical activity, though occasional light lifting of files and related materials is required. 50% of time in meetings, working with team, or talking on the phone, 50% of the time at the desk on computer, doing analytical work. 30% travel required, travel includes airplane, automobile travel and overnight hotel.

Salary Transparency

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on that facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $99,000 to $198,000 and is bonus eligible. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time) and paid Holidays. All benefits are non-contractual, and QuidelOrtho may amend, terminate, or enhance the benefits provided, as it deems appropriate.
