Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Analyst to join our Vendor Analytics team. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing vendor performance data, identifying insights, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize vendor relationships and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of data processes and marketing channels and/or retail (eCom/instore) analytics, excellent communication skills to present complex findings concisely and strong focus in data accuracy.

Responsibilities:

1. Data automation & reporting

Own or co-own data tables and serve as SME when it comes to using these data tables for different analyses

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, marketing channels, marketing technology, etc... to automate data and reporting and trouble shoot data issues to ensure data quality

Develop and maintain regular reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track key vendor performance metrics.

2. Marketing Performance Analyses:

Consolidate and analyze data to tell cohesive story with impactful insights to vendors and marketing channels.

Conduct in-depth analysis for different brands and vendors and provide actionable recommendations for growth and marketing optimization in a compelling ways

Own a specific area of vendor marketing analytics and educate business users in using data, reports, dashboards in decision-making

3. Vendor Relationship Management:

Foster strong working relationships with key vendors, acting as a point of contact for data-related inquiries and collaboration.

Collaborate with agencies to improve data accuracy, reporting capabilities, and alignment on performance metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.

2 - 4 years of experience in data analysis

2+ years of data visualization using tools like Looker, Tableau, etc... 2+ years of data querying languages SQL

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in marketing analytics and/or retail (eCom & instore) analytics.

Experience using web and app analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc..

Experience using programming languages such as Python/R

Strong understanding of A/B testing

Master's degree
