Receptionist

Job Description

Duration: 2 months (Temp to Hire)

Shift:  1st Shift (8 am - 3:30 pm)

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Greets visitors and clients, providing general information and direction to appropriate contacts
  • Assists with ENVOY Trade Compliance System to register and validate visitors
  • Manages distribution and collection of temporary badges
  • Answers and screens incoming calls; using independent judgment as needed and maintaining confidentiality
  • Performs routine clerical tasks as needed (i.e., copying, faxing, filing)
  • Sets up meetings, manages conferencing rooms, facilitates conference calls, and provides audio-visual equipment
  • Maintains a neat and orderly reception desk area
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as necessary

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma.

Required Skills:

  • Professional demeanor for answering phones, greeting and directing people.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize changing situations.
  • Ability to recognize and solve typical problems and select solutions from established options.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
