Position Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to support the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) and Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific working on the digital transformation of the Naval Operational Architecture, model-based systems engineering of critical Naval cross-domain mission threads, and cybersecurity engineering of next-generation Naval information systems and tactical networks. Decision Technologies seeks motivated individuals with broad skillsets and experiences who can demonstrate a history of achievement in engineering services for the Navy and/or larger DoD.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform Cybersecurity risk assessments on deployed Navy systems, system functions, and interconnection
• Analyze and develop mitigation plans, corrective actions, and contingencies for risks identified during Cyber Risk Assessments and Penetration Testing
• Track operational changes to the DoD and DON cybersecurity initiatives, provide implementation guidance and identify policies affecting cost, schedule, and performance criteria to support Navy cybersecurity goals.
• Evaluate cybersecurity requirements implementation across the acquisition lifecycle to make recommendations on cybersecurity risks and mitigations
• Develop cybersecurity metrics to include data collection, monitoring, analysis, and reporting and evaluate independent cybersecurity technical assessments for cyber risk, software assurance, penetration testing, and other related cybersecurity testing
• Evaluate cybersecurity technical assessments, develop technical and process efficiencies throughout all Risk Management Framework (RMF) steps, and develop implementation guidance for RMF execution for efforts throughout system development.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Three years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent
• Information Assurance Management (]AM or Information Assurance Technical (lAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (lASAE), Level I (position-based) per DoD 8570.1M

Travel Requirements:

25% to various Naval activity centers, including San Diego, CA; Washington, DC; Norfolk, VA; Charleston, SC; Denver, CO; and Hawaii
