The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the management of the physical plant, including supervision of maintenance staff, waste water staff and/or outside contractors involved with the construction, installation and maintenance of all additions and alterations to the facility and production equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Select, develop, train and oversee the activities of the maintenance and Waste Water staff
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to return all production equipment to peak operational efficiency as quickly as possible
  • Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance, facilities and safety projects insuring timely and professional completion
  • Maintain work records pertaining to preventative maintenance and repairs for all manufacturing equipment and facilities
  • Administer outside contracted services (i.e.: janitorial, grounds, and construction)
  • Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals which would include the following:
  • Supervise daily tasks and schedule for Maintenance and WWTP employees.
  • Manage hazardous waste, and water/wastewater programs to ensure full compliance. This will include the oversight and management of properly handling and disposal of all waste, including hazardous wastes that are generated in daily operations throughout the operations.
  • Escort and assist regulatory agencies during routine inspections.
  • Attend meetings, communicate regularly with managers and supervisors, attend special training, maintain a clean, safe work environment and communicates to supervisors and managers.
  • Properly handle and dispose all waste, including hazardous wastes that are generated in daily operations as directed by the EHS department.
  • Full participation in safety training and the ability to understand and follow directions identified in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.
  • Act as primary interface with workers compensation claims and issues
  • Conduct inventories to maintain supply of bulk chemicals
  • Develop, follow and complete written policies and procedures regarding maintenance and facilities

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of all operations throughout manufacturing and maintenance areas
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures a must
  • Knowledge of and ability to manage work which involves hazardous chemicals
  • Knowledge of and ability to manage work which involves plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Experience with wastewater pre-treatment.
  • Familiar with CA Title 22, Hazardous Waste, Cal-OSHA regulations
  • Ability to work effectively with many different departments, companies and personalities
  • Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical equipment
  • Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift 40 pounds without straining
  • Strong team player with experience managing or leading a team
  • PC experience, especially using maintenance software, word processing, spreadsheet and database programs. Familiarity with CAD Programming preferred
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field and/or certification by an accredited organization within the field, or 5+ years experience in facilities or maintenance management preferred
  • Experience utilizing manufacturing equipment (i.e. oscilloscopes, amp/volt meters and circuit testers) preferred
  • Familiar with processes involved in the manufacturing preferably within the printed circuit board industry
  • Must have or be capable of obtaining and maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$56,397 - $93,996

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
