About The Job

Dudek is seeking a mid-level urban planner to join our planning and urban design group, which works collaboratively with experts across all disciplines to provide comprehensive planning and urban design services to public and private-sector clients. We are seeking dynamic, self-motivated, creative, inquisitive, and detail-oriented individuals. A successful candidate will enjoy working on a wide-range of projects with a diverse group of specialists.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and support community engagement.
  • Conduct GIS and technical analysis.
  • Research applicable State laws, funding opportunities, and local ordinances.
  • Collect and interpret scientific, socio-economic, and public outreach data.
  • Prepare maps and graphics using ArcGIS and the Adobe Suite.
  • Assist in managing projects from start to finish.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in City and Regional Planning or related field
  • Ability to collaboratively work in a team setting
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of California planning and development law

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in City and Regional Planning, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in planning and urban design
  • AICP certification
  • Working GIS knowledge, e.g. experience with Urban Footprint, ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite

Proposed Salary Range:$70,000-$85,000 annually *

*Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual's related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
