Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)

This is not a fully remote position.

The Microsoft SharePoint Administrator/Developer is responsible for the overall administration and support of the SharePoint system for Calpine Energy Solutions. The SharePoint administrator will also be responsible for the analysis of requirements to ensure the requirements accurately fulfil business needs. The position will work directly with various business users to manage all day-to-day SharePoint activities. This position will be the primary resource to respond to project requests, enhancement requests, and application issues.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting with client leadership and stakeholders to gather input and analyze the feedback to develop technical solutions.
  • Make sure all deliverables are submitted on time and mitigate all issues along the way.
  • Present all solutions and findings to client leadership, stakeholders and internal team leadership.
  • Design, develop and implement all SharePoint solutions
  • Analyze current state (SP On-Premise) and develop or continue the migration plan from SharePoint On Premise to SharePoint Online
  • Maintaining a product backlog and features list
  • Troubleshoot all technical issues relating to SharePoint
  • Create all document libraries, custom lists, and their corresponding features
  • Implement content types and metadata based on industry SharePoint best practices
  • Conversion from InfoPath to SharePoint d366
  • Create and optimize SharePoint site templates and master pages for a consistent and user-friendly experience.
  • Create HTML elements and incorporate CSS styling, where applicable
  • Develop training user guides and job-aids
  • Leverage HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, ASP.NET, SQL, JQuery, Bootstrap, SP Services, SQL to develop custom SharePoint solutions
  • Connect SharePoint sites to external databases

Job Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, mathematics, business, economics or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience administering or developing in Microsoft SharePoint On Prem / Microsoft SharePoint Online.
  • Experience trouble shooting SharePoint workflows and lists is a must.
  • Experience as the Subject Matter Expert for SharePoint, both On Premise and Online.
  • Experience with SharePoint REST API, CSOM, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint framework (SPFx) development is a plus.
  • Experience developing custom workflows using Microsoft Power Automate or Logic Apps is a plus
  • Experience with a SharePoint migration from On Premise to Online is a plus.
  • Previous experience with Azure and Confluence is a plus.
  • Experience with SharePoint UI development and design is a plus
  • Experience writing business requirements, and performing functional testing.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining Microsoft SQL queries
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Must be self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to learn independently.
  • Must possess initiative, advanced decision-making skills, and problem solving abilities.
  • Must be able to handle multiple and varying requests at the same time.
  • Ability to assess priorities and make recommendations to management regarding schedule, plans, design, and tactics for current and future SharePoint projects, or related ancillary applications.
  • Ability to resolve technical SharePoint issues considered low to medium in complexity.
  • Ability to conduct user training and walkthroughs as requested.
  • Ability to work with a geographically diverse, and cross functional teams to achieve goals
  • Sitting and standing for long periods of time.

Salary Information - Position eligible for annual bonus.

Salary range - $79,180 to $116,789
