Senior Director Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Job Description

We are seeking a highly upbeat and hard-working individual to lead Acadia's Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) efforts at Acadia. This position will serve as a DEI subject matter expert (SME) across the Acadia organization with a focus on the People and Performance (P&P) group and the Acadia Leadership Team. This individual will focus on developing high-impact leadership solutions that drive accelerated business results through the growth of our people.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • This role is responsible for Acadia's DEI strategies Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Partner directly with executive leaders to develop our long-term vision and strategy and lead company-wide efforts related to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Strategies and company efforts will include: community involvement, virtuous business practices, DEI talent strategies, and success measures to build the path forward for our foundational DEI program
  • Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners and Center of Expertise Leaders (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Compliance and Employee Relations, and HR Operations) to implement DEI strategies and meet business needs
  • Develop and facilitate a DEI Council and support the Employee Resource Groups to deliver their role to build a more inclusive culture at Acadia
  • Partner with People and Performance Centers of Expertise to integrate DEI strategies into our existing talent process, employee communications, and all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Collaborate with various departments, including TA and Corp Affairs on internal/external efforts relative to DEI
  • Leverage deep understanding of implicit bias/bias mitigation concepts and/or behavioral competencies to incorporate in existing talent management solutions
  • Partner with our HR Ops team to analyze trends to support success of diverse talent, including meeting industry-standard equitable benefits
  • Drive consistency, fairness, and excellence in how we identify talent, assess performance, assess potential, build succession plans, build leadership programs, and execute development actions
  • Ensure DEI research, scenarios, and strategies are fully incorporated in training development, design, and facilitation for all employees
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in DEI, Talent Development and Human Resources functions
  • Bachelor's degree in related area with professional level HR industry certificates
  • Deep experience with mature, high-impact DEI and talent functions, practices, and tools
  • Demonstrated experience serving as culture and organization change agent in a fast moving, dynamic and results-driven organization
  • Experience developing positive relationships and working effectively with peers and leaders across an organization
  • Demonstrable track record of facilitating company-level initiatives with multiple stakeholders globally
  • Clear and concise communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, see, talk or hear in a standard office environment. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Ability to travel by car or airplane independently up to 15% of the time and work after hours if required by travel schedule or business issues.

In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for discretionary bonus and equity awards based on factors such as individual and organizational performance. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location.

Salary Range
$209,000-$261,100 USD
