Job Description
Stratascorp has an opening for an IA Compliance Specialist, supporting Navy's Fleet Systems Engineering Team (FSET). This is San Diego-based position supporting Navy Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) Fleet Readiness Directorate (FRD).
The FSET program supports the effective operation of all NAVWAR afloat and ashore C4I systems throughout the entire Operational Fleet Readiness Plan (OFRP) cycle. The FSET program is also responsible for supplying senior technical advisors and engineers to provide end-to-end C4I systems engineering support at global locations. The FSET Team is responsible for maintaining the Operational Fleet Readiness Plan (OFRP) across the Navy's fleet and supporting the introduction of new capabilities as directed.
As an IA Compliance Specialist, you will implement and monitor security measures for Navy communication systems and networks and operate all aspects of Information Systems (IS) data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation. You will provide advice that systems and personnel adhere to established security standards and Governmental requirements for security on these systems. You will oversee, evaluate and document cybersecurity accreditation processes, and ensure risk, compliance and monitoring procedures are followed.
You may implement data network security measures and monitor network intrusion detection and forensic systems. You may operate Host Based Security System (HBSS), firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), other point of presence security tools, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and related security operations.
- Bachelor Degree from accredited University or CNSSI 4012 or 4013 or 4014 or 4015 or 4016 Certificate or NDU CISO certificate or successful completion of at least one of the following military training courses: NEC 2780 (CIN: A-531-0022) or 2779 (CIN: A-531-0009) or 2781 (CIN: A-531-0045) (or DOD Service equivalent)
- Minimum Three (3) years' experience in Information Assurance Compliance
- Familiarity with NAVWAR Fleet Readiness Directorate (FRD) and NIWC Pacific and Atlantic
- Active Certifications (one or more): Security+ CE, CCNA, CAP or ENSA or other security certification needed to meet IAT Level II
- An active DoD Secret clearance (Current or interim)with TS eligibility
- A CCNA or CAP or Security + (CE) or ENSA is required
This position is not currently funded/active. Should Stratas be awarded the contract, and you meet the qualifications of the position, you will be considered in the selection process.
