About The Job
Dudek is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator II to join our Legal Department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of experience working with commercial and/or government contracts. In this role, you will work collaboratively with Dudek's General Counsel and other internal Dudek business teams. Your excellent analytical and organizational skills will be highly desirable. This is an exciting, fast-paced position within an employee-owned company. The Contract Administrator II will report directly to the Senior Contract Administrator in Encinitas, CA.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Triage contract-related requests and questions between business teams and Legal so work can be prioritized, and questions can be addressed quickly and efficiently.
  • Analyze contractual language in high volumes and identify and translate critical information quickly, including spotting errors and inconsistencies.
  • Track and monitor the status of contracting documents and ensure timely receipt of fully executed documents.
  • Regularly interface with Dudek attorneys on matters relating to contract interpretation and risk management.
  • Work cross-functionally and independently; proactively seek out answers to questions from Dudek project managers and project accountants as well as outside clients and sub-consultants.
  • Prepare and manage Certificate of Insurance (COI) documents, including regularly interfacing with Dudek's external insurance broker.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in commercial and/or government contracting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Prior in-house legal experience is a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet timelines
  • Clear organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to think critically and apply sound judgment
  • Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on written and verbal communication.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • California Notary Public preferred
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by the first day of employment

Working Conditions:
  • This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.
  • This job requires occasional project site visits-based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, moving vehicles and equipment.

Proposed Salary Range: $79,560-$97,240 annually *
*Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual's related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
