SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, OSD, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defense Force. Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients' challenges.

Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients' success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security.

Our group, the Naval Surface Warfare Analysis Group, supports the Surface community and components of the United States Navy by providing program management, requirements management, force development, and readiness support in Washington DC and the Fleet concentration areas. We provide timely, objective, analytic assessments, strategic planning, and expert operational, technical, and acquisition support to the Maritime communities, and related agencies, allies, and partners. We are trusted agents of the senior and operational leadership in the Fleet, OPNAV, NAVSEA, and the Royal Canadian and Royal Australian Navies. We play key roles in providing insights and strategies to address current and emerging challenges to national security and have tremendous impact on our client's success in solving their most important issues.

SPA has a near term need for a Warfare Commander Facilitator, who will support Tactical Training Group Pacific and Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific in San Diego, CA.

The candidate will be one of five Warfare Commander Facilitators with Naval Warfare Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in specialized experience in each of the following ten areas: CWC (FST & LVC), SUW, AMW, AD, STW, IO, USW, Naval Aviation Training, and Naval Law providing facilitation in day-to-day instruction of Tactical Training Group Pacific and Expiditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific warfare commander courses. Warfare Commander Facilitators will develop and execute complex multi-warfare training scenarios, validate Warfare Commander TTPs and PPR execution, role play warfare commanders and units, and provide real-time recommendations to adjust scenario events and timelines to achieve training objectives

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree, No specific discipline
• 20 years' Navy Warfare Tactical SME experience in planning and executing real-world or simulated warfare tactics and employment of units
• Post-department head tour experience on a Fleet, CSG or Warfare Commander staff or equivalent and experience developing and executing complex multi-warfare training scenarios, validating Warfare Commander TTPs and PPR execution, role playing warfare commanders and units, and providing real-time recommendations to adjust scenario events and timelines to achieve training objectives

• Naval Aviation Training key position must be MPRA or Rotary Wing, Weapons School WTI qualified

• Top Secret / Sensitive Compartment Information level eligible clearance OR "Secret" level clearance, with open T5 Investigation (Warfare Commander Facilitator positions may require Special Access Programs (SAP) as designated by Command Government Program Officer)
