Position Description

- Formulation of sub solutions, primer pools, including primer pool balancing, process improvement of bulk formulations.

- Support qualification, validation and spec setting of in-process test methods, including but not limited to absorbance & fluorescence, pH, conductivity, refractive index

- Support technology and product transfers from product development to manufacturing/CMO

- Technical writings including SOPs, material spec sheet, batch record template, reports etc.

- Evaluation and improvement of processes along the value chain

- Other studies including shelf life stability study, alternative vendor testing, troubleshooting.

Position Requirements

- Scientific degree/ education (i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology)

- GMP experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Biotech industry

- Seasoned formulator with minimum of 5+ years relevant hands-on experience in formulations, ideally in the manufacturing biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry

- Background in NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) is required

- Experienced in working with oligo primer mixes/pools is required

- Quality oriented, timeline driven, and able to work well in a fast paced environment

- Ability to manage complex personal tasks, team work, interaction and presentation to senior management and stakeholders

- Good analytical critical thinking skills

- Strong troubleshooting skills

The estimated base salary range for this position is $90,000-$130,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes annual performance bonus and generous benefits
