Job Description

Sellers & Associates, LLC is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to provide on-site technical expertise as a NAVSEA PMS 339 team member, supporting facility program goals and objectives at DoD installations and the corporate office as needed. The Project Manager will work with NAVFAC and various other government stakeholders to accomplish facilities modernization projects in support of fleet training initiatives. This role requires emotional intelligence to work smartly with the government client while representing the values of Sellers & Associates. Occasional travel, planned and coordinated, may be required no more than 20% of the time.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree related to construction, facilities, management, or engineering, or ten (10) plus years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education.
  • Plan and develop the project concept, collaborating with external clients and internal stakeholders to establish project scope and goals.
  • Developing facility Statements of Work (SOW) and respond to technical proposals.
  • Establish project deadlines and monitor progress, adapting plans and strategies to keep the project on schedule.
  • Lead and conduct scheduled meetings to provide project review and status.
  • Identify and resolve issues using problem-solving skills to maintain project control.
  • Manage financial resources, ensuring cost-effective project execution and budget adherence.
  • Ensure satisfaction with stakeholders, maintaining open channels of communication for updates and feedback.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs)
*Proactive communicator able to influence stakeholders and accomplish the mission. *Ability to read, interpret, and create documents such as installation drawings, safety rules, and operating/maintenance instructions. *Ability to speak effectively in front of large groups of people. *Able to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision. *General working knowledge of local, state and federal codes and the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) documents. *Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT), with strong Visio experience preferred. *Minimum five (5) years of experience in military construction work, participation in an approved electrical/mechanical apprenticeship program, or graduation from a Naval Construction Force (Seabees) Class "A" Military Technical School. *Substantial and relevant civilian experience supporting NAVFAC may qualify an applicant for a waiver of one or more of these requirements.
