Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • Maintaining your own sales territory (sales targets, pipelines, and customers).
  • Developing and maintaining consistent forecasting accuracy and report forecasting updates to District Manager.
  • Accurate management and recording of data generated from these efforts online, in SAP CRM, Outlook or spreadsheets as appropriate.
  • Contributing to development of marketing and sales strategies to support growth targets in categories.
  • Assessing local market trends around potential challenges and opportunities to grow business.
  • Ensuring all sales and customer issues are addressed and responded to in a timely and professional manner. Investigates and resolves customer problems and/or complaints ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain excellent relations with internal and external customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • As part of developing territory strategies and plans; leverages internal resources, service specialists, ComOps, Marketing, and other tools at their disposal to support growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Assists with sales communication to client/prospect base in assigned territories, i.e. templates for personalized mails, product guides, bulk mails, pitches, special quotes.
  • Provides insight and direction while working with District Manager to support Territory alignment optimization with respect to T accounts through Sales Territory Optimization strategies.
  • Travel 20% of the time to drive sales through customer meetings, product demonstrations, seminars, vendor shows, conventions, etc.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Previous Biotech Field and/or Technical/Lab Experience STRONGLY DESIRED
  • Strong sales drive; Proven ability to sell and consistently exceed sales quotas.
  • Technical competency in product knowledge, product application and product positioning. Strong understanding of the consultative sales approach.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail including excellent organizational, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Decision-making: Ability to analyze, synthesize, evaluate and make decisions.
  • Good time management skills in implementing and executing successful plans of action that balance your sales activities with customer needs and account development.
  • Experience with CRM systems and other sales-related software.
