About the Role: Equus Workforce Solutions is looking for an innovative self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and experience in qualitative and quantitative evaluation and continuous improvement. The Quality Manager supports the Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Continuous Improvement policies and practices for various employment and training career centers, programs, and delivery of services across multiple funding streams (i.e., Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, TANF, SNAP, etc.).

Reporting To: Director of Quality

Specific Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong collaborative and consultative relationships with Project Directors, One-Stop Operators, and Quality leaders and staff.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual Quality Assurance and Quality Control reviews to ensure compliance with company and contract requirements. Reviews include but are not limited to customer case files, program design, delivery of services, and contract deliverables.
  • Collaborate with project leadership on process development and improvement, standard operating procedure (SOP) development, and process mapping.
  • Train QA and QC methods including internal monitoring of customer case files, customer expenditures and documentation, and performance reporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery Team members on special projects, research, analysis, and learning content development.
  • Conduct QC sampling review of case files for project transitions.
  • Provide QA, QC and Continuous Improvement technical assistance for projects and staff.
  • Support Business Development Team for grants/proposals.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 3+ years in leadership position related to Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Continuous Improvement of WIOA and/or TANF programs and delivery of services.
  • 3+ years in conducting customer case file reviews/monitoring.
  • 3+ years in process development including standard operating procedures and process mapping/flow charting.
  • Intermediate Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Excellent analytical skills, work ethic, and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated proficiency in conveying complex, technical ideas to a general audience through writing and speaking.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%; may include evenings and weekends.
Additional Information

This is a remote position geared toward US-based candidates in the Mountain/Pacific time zones.

  • All applicants must have a valid driver's license and good driving record (able to rent a car for a business) and be willing to travel with limited notice up to 60% of the time with seasonal fluctuations.
  • Must have reasonable access to an airport with multiple airline options.
  • As a remote worker, will receive a laptop, docking station, keyboard and mouse, webcam, 2 monitors and a small printer for the home office.
  • Adequate home internet is the responsibility all remote workers.
  • Equus has a Bring-Your-Own-Device policy (phone + data) and provides a fixed stipend accordingly.
  • Travel will be booked through a corporate travel app and all expenses must be paid via a corporate AMEX account which does require reasonably good personal credit to qualify for and is a job requirement.
