BlueHalo is seeking a Receiving & Inventory Associate to become a part of a dynamic team, reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain. This role will be responsible for Inventory, kitting, and tracking of property at BlueHalo's San Diego (CA) site.

This role will ensure that material is accurately received, inspected, placed into inventory, and kitted based on work order demand. Also includes preforming inventory counts on contract material, tagging incoming property, and distribution of incoming material to the requesters at the site. Candidate would be required to communicate between multiple departments, and report key information to stakeholders in a timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

    Aid in receipt and evaluation of incoming material & property
  • Support inventory counts as required
  • Store property and material in the inventory cage after passing inspection
  • Tag, track, and distribute material & property
  • Conduct inventories of Government, Customer, and BlueHalo Property as directed
  • Report inventory results back to the Property Team
  • Aid the shipping department in coordination and preparation of shipments
  • Create packing lists and transfer documents for material to be delivered and shipped to various locations
  • Aid in preparation of kits for production / manufacturing
  • Provide audit support
  • Work with Procurement to resolve purchase order discrepancies
  • Store inventory after inspection, create inventory locations, conduct inventory counts, and produce kits for manufacturing
  • Perform daily cleanup of receiving & shipping area
You're required to have this

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Receiving & Inventory Management
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Capable of operating a forklift, pallet jack, and ladder
  • Understanding of Supply Chain, Property and Inventory processes/activities
  • Familiarity with the FAR and DFARS, and how Supply chain processes are applied to meet compliance
  • ERP system experience

Desired:

  • 5+ years of direct experience specific to material control and Inventory
  • Familiar with ESD precautions and proper material handling procedures
  • Associate degree in business or related discipline such as Finance, Supply Chain, or Accounting with 5+ years' experience
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Unanet, Flowtrac, and Microsoft Suite experience strongly preferred
